The Right Experience
Jase Bolger’s experience as a husband, father, and small business owner is unfortunately uncommon in politics. Through this experience, Jase will bring his common sense approach to representing our families.
Family
Jase is a devoted husband and dedicated father. The Bolger family is active in their church, St. Mary Church, where Jase is an usher.
Jase has been a little league T-ball coach, AYSO soccer coach, and Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader for his children.
As a boy, Jase earned his Eagle Scout rank with the Boy Scouts of America.
Jobs
Jase has created jobs, and runs a small business in Kalamazoo. He knows what it takes to compete for work because he does it every day.

Electability
Jase has demonstrated his ability to win. In 2004 he won his first race and was elected as a Calhoun County Commissioner. In 2006 he faced an onslaught of negative mailings and robo-calls by the Michigan Democratic Party. In his county commission district, Gov. Jennifer Granholm (D), U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D), and State Sen. Mark Schauer (D) all won in 2006. However, Jase was reelected by these same voters with 54% of the vote. Jase did this through principled service on the county board and hard work throughout his district.
